God's is Truth
To be known as a person of honesty and integrity is a rare quality these days when such qualities are not appreciated.
They are of course important for the Christian to have and display in their daily walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the greatest example of such virtues.
Therefore let us follow the one who was the Truth as well as the Way and the Life, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
This is surely the only hope in the world in which we live where trust is in such short supply.

Baptismal Service
It was a great privilege for those who attended the baptismal service on Sunday evening 19th October when Liz McGookin and Adam Ogwu were baptised. It is a great blessing for the church and family when believers are obedient to the command of the Lord Jesus Christ to be baptised. It is also a powerful challenge to those who came along who have not come to faith in the Lord Jesus, it would be our prayer that those who attended would come to find salvation in Him. Also a special thank you to all who contributed in many different ways to help make it a memorable evening and continue to pray for Elizabeth and Adam that God will continue to bless them.
Pray for the 630 Club
630 Club
The leaders of 630 club have been greatly encouraged this session by the turnout of the children despite the interruption to the weekly programme at Brediland School.
The children have shown a good interest in the topics covered so far, Parables of Jesus and Haggai. Continue to pray for God's blessing on the work.
Mission Focus
At last month's Mission Focus it was encouraging to hear reports from William Hedderwick and Fraser Crawford of their involvement in mission work this year.
William has been involved in missions particularly at Bellshill with GLO and at Albert Hall Renfrew. At Bellshill there was children's activities, work with older people and special evenings with Gary Brotherstone. While at Renfrew there were children's work, a family night and a ladies evening.
Fraser presented a report of the GLO mission at Johnstone with the various activities that helped communicate the gospel of the Lord Jesus to children and adults.
Bible Teaching
At the Sunday evening service on the 23rd Jim Campbell who will be the speaker, will present a talk on the subject, "Preparation for the worship service".
