On the third day
It was three days after the events at Calvary when Jesus died, that the tomb where his body had been laid was found to be empty. There were emotions of joy, wonder and amazement as the disciples discovered that their Lord had risen and was indeed alive. It should not have come as a surprise that this had happened, as Jesus has foretold of this outcome using illustrations such as the experience of Jonah and the great fish and the temple being destroyed and in three days being rebuilt. People then either did not listen properly or did not believe this would happen and we would not have been any different if we had been there.
The resurrection of our Saviour Jesus Christ is the great triumph of the Christian faith, the truth that the Bible foretold and presented by many infallible proofs.

Fusion
Fusion's prizegiving was held on the 28th of March with a good number of parents attending to see what their children have learned over the last year. Since September prayers have been answered with new children coming regularly from around the church area and enjoyed a variety of activities including songs, games, crafts, quizzes and most importantly stories from the Bible.

More and more radio stations are asking to receive short programmes. Recently 25 short messages from the French assemblies' daily reading calendar were recorded.
The readings are made up into three-minute programmes, with an introductory signature tune and a conclusion offering literature or a Bible correspondence course.

Here in Le Havre, the church remains very small. The weekly prayer meeting is well supported, and several non-Christians have attended services at the invitation of Christian friends and colleagues. Please pray for our Easter Sunday service, at which we hope to see non-Christians.

It is good to welcome back Boyd Aitken to speak at our Bible Teaching service on Sunday 1st April. Boyd with his wife Blanche were commended from Tarbolton in 1961, spent many years in Sabbah, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
