Oh to see the dawn of the darkest day
Christ on the road to calvary
Tried by sinful men, torn and beaten then
Nailed to a cross of wood
This the pow'r of the cross
Christ became sin for us
Took the blame, bore the wrath
We stand forgiven at the cross
Oh to see the pain written on Your face
Bearing the awesome weight of sin
Ev'ry bitter thought, ev'ry evil deed
Crowning Your bloodstained brow
Now the daylight flees, now the ground beneath
Quakes as its maker bows his head
Curtain torn in two, dead are raised to life
'Finished!' the vict'ry cry.
Oh to see my name written in the wound
For through Your suf'fring I am free
Death is crushed to death, life is mine to live
Won through Your selfless love

The Lord is risen indeed!Luke 24:34
The Father himself loves you.John 16:27
The Lord is risen indeed!
The scriptures declare the great truth our eternal assurance that Jesus Christ died on the cross, conquered sin and death. The stone was rolled away and the tomb was empty and the Lord was alive, appearing to the disciples and other believers. This is surely worthy of declaration this Easter time. Let us be enthused once again to declare the message of the power of the cross and the empty tomb. That Jesus Christ is indeed our Lord and Saviour the one we declare to the world.

Mission Focus
Our Mission Focus in March featured the testimony of Raggy Ramm and Jairah Funds, the charity that he is involved with. Brought up in a Sikh family in Glasgow Raggy was converted to Christianity after a remarkable journey searching for the truth.
Jairah Funds assist and provide relief and support for those in need by reason of age, ill health, natural disaster, financial hardship or other disadvantage in deprived areas or wherever the need may arise by feeding, educating, rehabilitating, housing and serving those in need of assistance. It was a very encouraging evening and our thanks to Frank McKinnon for organising the visit.
